Tony Peebles is a saxophonist, composer and teacher based in Oakland, California.
He has been fortunate enough to perform on stage with such artists as Geri Allen, Antoine Roney, Oliver Lake, Karl Denson, Fred Wesley, Stanton Moore, Will Bernard, Andy Bey, Nnenna Freelon, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, and reggae legend Don Carlos. He has performed throughout North America, in Europe, Central America and Africa with various projects.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (B.A. Music - theory concentration) and The University of the Arts (M.M. Jazz Performance - saxophone), he now performs with a variety of Bay Area bands, and teaches saxophone lessons.

Saxology in Berkeley is a candy store for saxophonists, with a crazy selection of the very nicest vintage pieces - just checked out a really really really nice old Brilhart! Eric Drake is a super nice, super skilled and knowledgeable repairman, engraver, and mouthpiece refacer. Also the cat can play! Sax people, go by sometime Tues-Sat and check it out!
